About Aster Cucine | Bespoke Italian Cabinetry

Aster Cucine was established in 1983 in Pesaro, Italy, which is the world’s principal centre for the manufacture of fine furniture; it is a leading Italian brand for kitchen cabinets that is internationally known for its architectural innovation, research into materials, and custom design options. By combining centuries of traditional Italian craftsmanship with modern production technology, the company produces made-to-order kitchen systems, living room cabinetry and custom millwork for use in luxury private homes, residential towers and hospitality projects all over the world.

Crafted in Pesaro, Italy: The Core Pillars

The company pre-engineers and manufactures every kitchen at its head office in Pesaro, Italy. The company’s approach is based on the idea that the kitchen should be seen as the heart of modern architecture, and its kitchen designs are therefore based on four fundamental operational principles.

Architectural Customization & Dimensional Freedom

Aster Cucine goes beyond the usual constraints of modular design; each cabinet frame, door profile, and panel system can be specially engineered in terms of height, width, and depth to match the particular structural and architectural requirements, as well as to accommodate low ceilings, exposed beams, or appliances that are integrated.

Material Innovation & Finish Diversity

Aster Cucine is known for its extensive range of materials and finishes, offering over 150 surface treatments across several distinct aesthetic categories:

  • The material features Fenix NTM surfaces which have thermal healing of micro-scratches, anti-fingerprint properties, and a soft-touch matte appearance.
  • For metal items involving hand-oxidation and liquid metallic finishes, steel is hand-brushed and has a Corten weather-resistant finish, with liquid metal coatings being applied to the door profiles in industrial and modern types of spaces.
  • Natural wood veneers made from sustainably harvested European oak, walnut, eucalyptus, and chestnut, which are treated with natural oils or have their surface finished with wire brushing or ceraising.
  • Polyester lacquers in multiple coats are available in polished piano gloss, velvet satin, and in custom RAL/NCS colour palettes.

Precision Concealed Engineering

Aster Cucine integrates top-tier concealed European hardware into all box structures:
  • The carcass is made up of core panels that are dense and have low emission levels, and which meet CARB2 regulations because they have been specially treated to resist moisture and to ensure load stability.
  • The equipment comprises Blumotion full-extension soft-closing drawer runners, Salice 3D hidden adjustable hinges, and robust wall-mounted brackets that are designed to support heavy natural stone countertops.

Environmental Stewardship & Sustainability

Aster Cucine is committed to eco-conscious manufacturing practices across its Italian production facilities:
  • The sourcing of wood veneers and solid timber components is carried out exclusively within responsibly managed European forests that are certified by FSC®.
  • Water-based lacquers with a low content of volatile organic compounds use non-toxic bonding agents and thus help to maintain good indoor air quality.
  • At the Pesaro plant, photovoltaic solar arrays are used to power the manufacturing machinery and this results in a substantial reduction in carbon emissions during the fabrication process.
